I'm a self-taught photographer who's been snapping away for a large number of years.

I started this photoblog on 31st May and it is my intention to keep posting a picture a day. Although I won't be posting pictures in strict chronological order, it's my aim to be strongly biassed in favour of more recent shots. Having said that, if there's a special date or event or even a thought, I'll dig out an older (possibly much older) shot to illustrate it.

In 2001 I gained the distinction of Associate of the Royal Photographic Society by presenting a panel of 15 prints for assessment. You can see the panel I presented here. It's in the same format as seen by the assessors.

Take a look at my website at www.brightimaging.com. It's a 'work in progress', I'm afraid (or at least it would be if I was actually working on it). Enjoy :)

It's not what you use, it's the way that you use it...
