photoblog image The Chinese Door

The Chinese Door

This was taken in Lujiazui, a district of Shanghai. It's the only one I could think of that fits the 'old' theme. The building is the Lujiazui Development Museum - unfortunately it was closed when I was there.

This photo also serves as a bit of a taster for my forthcoming Shanghai series. Looking forward to seeing lots of other old photos!

hey steve,

really cool shot. i love the way the chipped paint coincides with the fading black bricks. also, the paint under door seems to bring out the colors in the orange bricks. great details and perspective.
Steve: I hadn't really noticed how the paint under the black layer echoes the colour of the bricks. Good spot!
