This is the view from my office window that greeted me on Monday afternoon. The top of the silhouetted building (a close up of which you'll see on Monday), is I think, the old control tower for RAE in Farnoborough. I don't know what's in the main bulk of the building - I have heard that's where the old wind tunnels were, but I don't know for sure.

I think it's a rather splendid building in its own way, albeit a bit boxy, but the view is obscured by a really ugly brick building with loads of pipes and chimneys that I was convinced was going to be pulled down last year.
